The Panasonic BT-H1700B's front panel controls allow for quick, convenient set up and
operation -- including push button selection of the various inputs. In addition, the on-screen, easy-to-operate menu provides for quick
access to the monitor's many other features including aspect ratio selection, various color temperature settings, white balance
adjustment, and more. Memory storage and instant recall provide added installation flexibility. Additionally, the BT-H1700B features
remote control for tally lamp, Input Select, Color Off, Area Marker, Aspect Changeover, and Underscan -- all through RS-232C and GPI I/F.
The BT-H1700B provides three (3) card slots that can accommodate up to three optional input modules. These modules include Composite Video
or Y/C, Analog Component RGB, SD-SDI, and HD-SDI. By selecting various optional card combinations, the monitor can be configured for an
extremely wide variety of applications from NTSC composite to standard 601 applications to true high definition installations. The
optional rack mount allows for installations in small OB vans; QC stations in equipment rooms; as a preview monitor associated with
NTSC, SD, or HD routing systems; and non-linear edit monitoring.
