ZACUTO WHIP™ – The Zacuto Whip™ allows the focus assistant to control the follow focus from a greater distance from the camera, such as in dolly shots. Additionally, it reduces camera shake caused by the assistant physically grabbing the follow focus knob.
MATTE BOX – The matte box has multiple purposes. It acts as a lens shade to prevent lens flares by adjusting the top brow. Another feature is the ability to hold filters. This matte box has two stages that have 2 4x4 or 4x5.650 filter trays that are fully rotatable. This is necessary when using graduated and polarizing filters.
FOLLOW FOCUS – The follow focus allows the camera operator or assistant to adjust the focus very precisely and be able to repeat it accurately. You can make marks with a grease pencil on the white disk between two different focal planes and shift focus between the two points as desired. It’s a must for dialogue scenes.
ZACUTO REPEATABLE FOCUS GEAR™ – The Zacuto repeatable focus gear™ is a required item to using a follow focus on the HVX200 camera. Electronic lenses were not designed to stop on either end of the lens barrel. The Zacuto Repeatable Focus Gear™ gives the lens a hard stop at 3 feet and another hard stop at infinity making it much more like a traditional lens and allows for accurate, repeatable focus
SIDERS – Siders sometimes called side flags further prevents lens flares from side lights. They are an additional item and not included when purchasing a matte box.
BROW – The Brow prevents lens flares by adjusting up or down, it is included when purchasing the Matte Box.
FILTER TRAYS – Filter trays hold filters that are inserted into these rotatable filter stages and comes included with the matte box.

LARGE ARTICULATING ARM – Large Noga articulating arm, sometimes called an Israeli arm. These arms allow you to mount a monitor to the Zacuto Double™, Mini™ or MicroMount™. One turn of the knob allows you to position the monitor wherever you like and another turn to lock it in place.
ZACUTO UNIVERSAL BASEPLATE™ - The Zacuto Universal Baseplate™ is adjustable and fits all cameras. The camera is screwed to the top of the Baseplate and the tripod plate is attached to the bottom. This allows for a quick release from the tripod. The included rods provide a platform to mount devices off the front and back of the camera. The back of the camera mounting concept is a Zacuto invention.
TRIPOD SLIDING BASEPLATE - The tripod sliding baseplate balances the camera package by sliding it forward or backward on the tripod.
TILT DRAG - The drag wheel sets the tension of your tripod head when tilting.
COUNTER BALANCE - This adjusts the main spring to offset for front or back heavy camera packages.
PAN DRAG - This sets the amount of tension while panning.
TILT LOCK - This locks the tripod head from tilting.
PAN LOCK - This locks the tripod head from panning.
SLIDING BASEPLATE LOCK - This locks the tripod sliding baseplate once adjusted.
TRIPOD HEAD - The tripod head rests in either a 75mm or 100mm tripod bowl. The head is responsible for panning and tilting your camera package. Smooth movement is essential to getting good shots; therefore, you need a good tripod.
TRIPOD - Tripods for this level of camera come in either 75mm or 100mm bowl. The larger the bowl the more weight the tripod can handle. Tripod legs can be 1, 2 or 3 stages. A stage is a section of leg that telescopes out to raise your tripod. Tripods come in aluminum and carbon fiber.

ZACUTO DOUBLE MOUNT™ - The Zacuto Double Mount™ attaches to the back of the Zacuto Baseplate™ with the included rods. It can mount two 1/4 20 and two 3/8 16 articulating arms. The 3/8 16 arm sockets have Zacuto patented arm locks to prevent them from loosening.
ZACUTO RED PLATE™ - The Red Plate™ allows you to mount Zacuto Wireless Plates™ in eight different positions. It's is also required to mount the battery plate. Required items: Zacuto Double Mount™
BATTERY PLATE - V-Mount or Anton 3-Stud battery plates attach to the Zacuto Red Plate™ allowing you to power your camera package. A 2 pin D-Tap connector on the battery plate will supply power to your monitor or hard drive.
BATTERY - Batteries come in 70 and 90 Watt hour sizes. It is recommended to have 2 batteries and a 2 position quick charger for unlimited power all day. Our batteries have a 2 pin D-Tap power connector in the battery to supply power for additional accessories.
WIRELESS MIC - A wireless mic receiver attaches to the Zacuto Wireless Plate™ and then plugs into the audio inputs of the camera delivering you wireless sound.
ZACUTO WIRELESS PLATE™ - The Zacuto Wireless Plate™ screws to the required Zacuto Red Plate™ in eight different positions. It acts as a universal platform to mount wireless mics, down-converters or any other piece of equipment.
RODS - Zacuto products use 15mm lightweight support rods spaced 60mm center to center. The Zacuto Baseplate™, Shoulder Pad™ and Double Mount™ come with rods. Rod extensions are necessary when using an XL-H1, GY-HD100U, Redrock M2. Rod Extensions come in 7 inch and 10 inch lengths.
ZOOM CONTROLLER - Zoom controllers can have various features like a zoom rocker with speed dial, focus control, iris control and record trigger. The zoom controller plugs into the camera for control.
TRIPOD HANDLE – Is used to pan and tilt the camera.
HARD DRIVE - The hard drive connects to your camera via a Firewire cable. Recording is done directly to the hard drive (tapeless). This gives you the ability to go direct to edit and the convenience of not having to capture the video off tape.
